| From the TulsaWorld, 9/12/1994: "...Slayings (cont.)" "In an unrelated slaying, Lt. Bill Wells said police are looking for the person who stabbed Patti Olive Wilson, 45, about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in her home at 2731 E. 44th St. North. Henrietta Harrison, a neighbor, said Wilson had lived with her boyfriend in the home for about a year, and that the boyfriend's mother had moved out of the home. "They fussed so much that she left. She had no peace." Harrison said. "She let the young folks have at it and now this happened." Another neighbor, who would not give his name, said he tried to revive Wilson after he was summoned for help. "She was lying in the floor in the kitchen gasping for air," he said. "There was nothing you could do." He said the boyfriend left the house when his ex-girlfriend stopped by. The boyfriend was smoking a cigarette with a neighbor when people began calling for help, the neighbor said. "He didn't know what to do. He didn't want to have nothing to do with the argument" between the woman and Wilson, the neighbor said. He said a pocket knife was found on the driveway at the house. Her death is the 37th homicide this year." |
