| Synopsis: There are only two news reports, published within 2 days of discovery, available about Edwards' murder. No other info or updates were found about Edwards, both in death and in life. Unclear what job he held. He lived with his grandfather, but the grandfather apparently wasn't home at the time Edwards was killed. The body was found by Edwards' stepfather following a welfare check due to nobody hearing from Edwards in a while. The victim hadn't been seen since Xmas and hadn't contacted anyone. However, when the stepfather approached Edwards' home, he quickly became alarmed because a foul odor emanated from the home. The smell was found to have been from the body decomposing. Edwards' body was found on a couch, with 5 shell casings nearby. No motive or potential suspect was known. The victim was described as well-loved with lots of friends and family, but had fallen into a deep depression when his mother died in October. The home was demolished around a decade after the murder. |
