Synopsis

Both Vincent Williams and Jacob Rucker appear to have planned a targeted drug robbery

of a residence in the Brookside neighborhood. There possibly could have been more

accomplices who escaped uninjured, as this apparently stemmed from a large dispute

between 2 groups concerning a sale of drugs.

Possibly, Williams and Rucker wanted to get back drugs they felt they were cheated of.

There were multiple people in the home at the time that night, and it appears that

Williams and Rucker tried breaking in through the front door or other areas.

Rucker was atleast found at the end of a blood trail leading from the

front door area, and with Williams dead inside its likely that Williams was

able to gain entry and confront residents. However, when police made entry,

the only person found inside was Williams fatally wounded. There were also

no drugs found in the home despite the dispute said to have concerned it,

and since witnesses said they saw people running out earlier, its likely that

the shooter and accomplices grabbed their drugs and their guns and fled after

Williams was shot down. No suspects were identified and its unknown if they

ever caught or identified the gunman, or others involved in the drug disagreement.

The home was later torn down, (in between 2011-2016) likely due to damage from possible drug activity. A newer "modern" home was built on the lot.
